Since 1968 Edge of Park Bicycle and Moped Rental has operated as a family run business providing the ideal way to experience Peninsula State Park. In 2015, then owners Craig and Lauren Lent passed the reigns to former employee Rachel Stollenwerk and her husband Dan. It is our continued mission to build relationships with our customers and do whatever we can to make your experience with us the best it can be so you can truly discover Door County!

Meet Dan and Rachel (And Ladybird)

Hello and welcome to Edge of Park!

We are so happy to be here helping you find the best Door County adventures for you and your family. We love living in Door County and spend as much time as we can with our pup ladybird. Since we were young we’ve enjoyed the Peninsula for all things outdoors. Hiking, biking, camping, skiing, sailing, kayaking and geocaching…the list goes on and on.

After 25 years of exploring the county we know Peninsula State Park is the place to be. This park has it all and then some. We also know that the best way to experience this amazing and unique corner of our world is to park the car and feel the wind in your hair! Edge of Park gives you the opportunity to experience this piece of our world the right way. Traverse the trails and roads on a bicycle or moped and find the extra special moments you will remember forever. While you are out there, make sure to take a minute to surround yourself with the beauty and tranquility of this special place.

Door County is one of the most unique ecological areas in the country. Trails and roads within Peninsula State Park lead you along the Niagara Escarpment, a geological foundation of glacial remains that stretches from the northern parts of Illinois all the way to Niagara Falls. Growing within the Cedar and Beech forests that stretch along its shoreline you can discover unique foliage and wildlife. It truly is a place like no other and our vision is for every visitor to our County to recognize and appreciate this amazing natural wonder. We hope you appreciate it as much as we do!

We’ll see you soon!

Dan, Rachel and Ladybird
